At the All Soul’s Episcopal Church, Russell Westbrook hosted his third annual holiday party for foster children. He and his family were on site all afternoon treating 80 foster children and young adults to food from Subway, shoes, t-shirts and backpacks from Brand Jordan, and holiday cheer courtesy of the Russell Westbrook Why Not? Foundation.
Russell’s holiday partnership with Citizens Caring for Children has become a cornerstone event for his foundation because as he’s said in the past, it provides an opportunity for him to bring Christmas joy to children in need and to give something back to a community that has given him so much. Russell and his Russell Westbrook Why Not? Foundation have made improving the lives of underprivileged urban youth a main priority.
