Why Not? Foundation Poker Night
For 12 years, the Russell Westbrook Why Not? Foundation has partnered with underserved communities across South Los Angeles and beyond to create pathways of possibilities for young people.
These programming and opportunities are powered by the proceeds from our Annual Poker Night in Las Vegas, where friendly competition meets an upscale atmosphere of fun and entertainment, directly supporting the next generation of leaders from underserved communities.
Women’s Wellness Brunch
During March, Women’s History Month, Bene™ by Nina Westbrook, in partnership with the Why Not? Foundation, gathers influential thought-leaders and innovators for Women Leaders of Mental Health & Wellness.
This intimate brunch serves as an initiative for one of the pillar focus areas of the Russell Westbrook Why Not? Foundation — to create pathways of empowerment for underserved communities through accessible mental health and wellness resources — and spur important conversations around the biggest mental health challenges of today, that impact Black and Brown youth and families.
Why Not? Foundation Basketball Camp
Every year, over 100 youth from diverse backgrounds join us for a two-day basketball intensive camp hosted by Russell Westbrook and a group of Basketball camp coaches.
Our young participants engage in activities to improve their health, wellness, and basketball skills; from aiming for impressive jump shots to learning signature dribbling techniques–they built confidence that they can carry on and off the court, just in time for the new school year!
